World-scale justice: beyond Global North & Global South?

Is the Global North – Global South concept still relevant? Does it explain inequalities and dependencies in our modern world? Who is going to carry the burden of climate change? Is development aid morally justifiable?

The academic, interdisciplinary and student-organized 5th International PPE Conference will offer you the chance to receive high level input from experts, personally engage in workshops and grow your network with
like-minded students and young researchers in the fields of politics, philosophy and economics.

Within the three conference days we will critically analyse the socioeconomic divide between the so-called     Global North and Global South, raising questions around world-scale justice and responsibility.

We are looking forward to welcome you at Witten/Herdecke University from 17th to 19th April 2020!
